September 10, 1:00-3:00pm, Middlebury Shape Note Singing.
We sing from the Sacred Harp song book in 4-part harmony, a cappella. Loaner books available. Free and open to all.
Location: Middlebury Rec Park, Mary Hogan Drive, off Route 7 (Court Street), one block south of the Middlebury town green. Park in the adjacent parking lot.

* In case of bad weather, we'll meet in the Ilsley Public Library Community Room. A confirmation email will be sent at 9:00am, Sunday morning. (or see our Middlebury Shape Note Singers Facebook page:

* Bring your own song book and a folding chair.
* Sacred Harp books will be available to borrow or buy ($25).
* Songs from other tune books are welcome; please bring photocopies (c20).

COVID-19 PREVENTIVE PRECAUTIONS:
* If you don't feel well, or if anyone in your household has any COVID symptoms, please stay home and take care of yourself. If in doubt, take an Antigen rapid test on the singing day and - if negative - please come!
* Full anti-COVID vaccination is expected, including a booster shot, if you are elderly or immune-compromised or over 6 months past your last booster.
*All are welcome to wear a mask anytime, anywhere.
