SunDub is a Brooklyn-based band. I have seen SunDub perform live on a couple of occasions, and I recommend their music and concert wholeheartedly. They shook the house at Higher Ground in South Burlington last January and then again in July with their album release national tour, Spirits Eat Music. Check out their music on Spotify, follow them on FB, Insta, etc., and catch them at Zenbarn in Waterbury on Thurs., Sept. 14th!
Their concert energy, music and album are engaging and empowering; at their last show, they spontaneously invited a 10-year old girl to jump onstage to help lead a call-and-response song to the delight and with the support of the entire audience. Their presence and messages are very real, positive and encouraging (ex. inviting a spiritual connection with loved ones who are no longer alive, finding new ways to love during the pandemic, the environment--a very timely subject given intensifying weather events --, etc.)
"SunDub is a testament to the power of inclusion, diversity and unity; their music and community rallies around the concept that we are strongest when people of different backgrounds can work together to create positive change."
