Consider a career in manufacturing or commercial truck driving!
Vermont Works for Women and Stafford Technical Center are excited to announce a new partnership that will offer career support to women interested in enrolling in Stafford's Manufacturing and Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDL) programs in Rutland.
Stafford Technical Center offers adult education programs in manufacturing that provide a solid foundation for those interested in working in the diverse field of manufacturing. Stafford also offers a Commercial Driver's License program for those interested in a career as a commercial truck driver. (Both class A and class B CDL programs are available).
In addition to the classroom instruction, Vermont Works for Women (VWW) will offer career support to qualified women who enroll in either program. VWW support includes networking opportunities, exposure to female role models within the industries, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, communication techniques, and job seeking support.
Classes take place in the evenings and on weekends.

Stafford Technical Center at The Dollhouse Restaurant
9am -- 12:30pm learn more about a career in manufacturing
1 -- 4pm learn more about the CDL program
