Calling all baking enthusiasts!
Do you have a secret cookie recipe that has everyone begging for seconds? Do people tell you that your snickerdoodles are the best they've ever had? If so, this is the event for you!
This year's Morefest Bakers Battle is a cookie lover's paradise, where participants will gather to showcase their baking skills and compete for the title of "Morefest's Best Cookie Baker "
This is not your ordinary baking competition - it's a chance to reveal your unique flavor combinations and innovative techniques to impress the judges and the crowd. From classic chocolate chip delights to intricate creations like macarons and stuffed cookies, there's room for every kind of cookie magic.
Here's the details – Bring 8 cookies on a disposable plate to the Bake-Off tent at the Moretown Rec Fields between 4pm and 6pm. No late entries! Your cookies will be placed in one of these six categories: Classic Cookies, Creative Flavors, Decorated Delights, Bar Cookie Bliss, A Nutty Twist, Fall Favorites. Judges will choose a winning cookie from each category. One delicious "Overall Best" cookie will be selected from the winners of the six categories. Feel free to bring multiple entries.
But wait, there's more! Each of the six category winners will receive a coveted Morefest wooden spoon. The Overall Best will be chosen by Goose Chase Cake Design's Sarah Auger and will receive a winner's basket which includes a custom-designed Morefest apron donated by Staples Stitchery and a gift certificate from Goose Chase Cake Design.
