Every two years, the Democratic Party of each Town in the State is required to reorganize and caucus and this is the year. In Shaftsbury we meet and nominate/vote for our Shaftsbury Democratic Party officers (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer). All Shaftsbury Democrats are encouraged to attend. We will also name delegates to the Democratic County Party Committee - If you would like to be a candidate for one of these positions, please be sure to join us at our meeting.
The more folks who are able to be involved in our local and state election processes, the better. Even if you cannot make the meeting on September 12, we would love to have all local Democrats participate in any upcoming activities that will take place over the next year.
