Spend Labor Day picnicking with the folks who brought us the weekend and the 8-hour work day*: the labor movement!

Come to the annual Working Class Labor Day Picnic & Solidarity BBQ this Monday 9/4 from 5-8pm at Pomeroy Park in Burlington's Old North End!

Green Mountain IWW, AFSCME 1674, the Dads' Guild, FreeHer VT, Tenants United, Vermont Workers' Center, Migrant Justice and others invite everyone to this family-friendly event to have some fun in the sun!

Music by DJ Chia, performances by local artists and kids' activities by the Dads Guild while sharing a delicious meal with members of our community of all ages and backgrounds.

Volunteers from BTV Free Meals Program and the People's Kitchen will serve FREE delicious barbecued meats and veggies with all the fixins, feel free to bring a dish, a song or a story to share!
