Welcome back! Fall is coming and your neighborhood Ward 1 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) meetings return in two weeks. We look forward to seeing everyone after this crazy summer and hope to hear your hopes and ideas for the upcoming round of NPA meetings. We are setting aside a good part of the meeting to have an open discussion about the NPA, its role in our neighborhoods, and ideas for our work together this coming year. So please reserve the evening of Wednesday, September 13, from 7:00 -9:00 pm. Sam Ayotte will be providing some food, and we will once again be meeting in the Friends Meeting House at 173 North Prospect Street and online via Zoom. We will post our agenda next Wednesday and look forward to seeing you soon.

We also are planning a neighborhood picnic at Schmanska Park on Thursday, October 5, to relax and eat and share stories of the summer and hopes for our neighborhoods. We will be firing up the grill around 5 pm for hamburgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs. If you want, bring a side dish or dessert to share. We hope to see you all there!
