* There will be a caucus of the New Haven Democratic Committee at 7 pm on Tuesday, 26 August 2014 at 4590 Munger St., New Haven, VT.
* The purpose is to select nominees to be on the November ballot as candidates for Justice of the Peace. 
Justices of the Peace are elected in the November general election for two-year terms in even numbered (election) years.  JPs help oversee elections, are ex officio members of their town's Board of Civil Authority (BCA), and are empowered to perform weddings anywhere in Vermont. 
* Any Democratic voter registered in the Town of New Haven is eligible to participate.
