The Northfield Historical Society has cleaned house! We have books and ephemera which we will be offering for sale during the Labor Day festivities, at the Paine House (next door to the Brown Public Library) on Main Street, from 10:00 - 2:00, Saturday through Monday, rain or shine. These are items that have been deemed out-of-scope to our collection policy, or, we have more copies of some items than we can use. As we sort through these books, we will post some specific titles to our website, www.nhsvt.org. The exhibit will also be open during that time, so shop and look!

Haven't bought your copy of the new Northfield book yet? Just published by Arcadia Publishing as part of the Images of America series in late July, this is a new photo book on the history of Northfield. Historical photos of our town were culled from our collection, and each one has a wonderful caption to accompany it. Copies sell for $20.00 each.
