Calling Milton Democrats and Those Supporting Democratic Values!

The Milton Democratic Party is alive and thriving and we invite you to join our dynamic group! We are holding a Reorganization Meeting at the Milton Town Library Community Room on September 16th at noon (or by Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6993332619). This will be an opportunity for newcomers, long-time residents, and all of us in between to get acquainted and to learn about what's going on in the local Democratic Party. Through this committee you will have input on decision-making and become informed of events within the Democratic Party at the local, county, and state level.

Instead of focusing on political differences, we want to focus on values that will drive Milton forward in a positive direction. We support candidates who believe:

- Equity is not the same as equality and the strength of a society can be measured by how it treats its most vulnerable citizens.
- Social and racial justice are the pillars for creating an inclusive Milton where everyone belongs.
- Climate change is real, and we must all take immediate action to reduce our carbon footprint and dependence on fossil fuels.

In recent years, Milton has been voting purple - voting for both Democratic and Republican candidates. This means every vote counts and that is why we need your support! The Milton Democratic Party has seen great progress thanks to people like you. Let's keep this momentum going. Let's continue to strive for a Vermont that works for all of us! We hope to see you there!
