Call for Fiber Artists

On Sunday, October 15, the Old Stone House Museum and Historic Village in Brownington is hosting "Tracing the Threads of Resourcefulness", a village-wide event that will offer mending, sewing machine care, stuffed animal repair, and heritage textiles. We welcome fiber artists willing to demonstrate your needle and fabric skills. We are seeking hand-crafters of rug braiding, rug hooking, spinning, crochet, knitting, tatting, felting, quilting, and more. Demonstration sites will take place indoors.

This event begins at Noon, and runs until 4 pm. It is planned as a fund-raising event for the Old Stone House, and promises a beautiful autumn day in the Brownington Village. Event advertisements will be released soon. If you would like to join us and display your fiber skills, please email to outreach@oldstonehousemuseum.org
