Chuck Miller was the beloved music teacher at Mary Hogan School for 26 years while simultaneously playing piano gigs all over the state. And he was at the keyboard for many shows and events at Town Hall Theater. Chuck and his wife are leaving Vermont this fall, and we at Town Hall Theater wanted to celebrate all the years of music Chuck gave to this community.
Chuck played for shows at THT including the "MIddlebury Does" series, "Working" 2004 AND 2017, "Smokey Joe's Cafe" 2008, "The Sound of Music" 2010, "The Permit" 2010, "The King & I" 2011, "City of Angels" 2017, "Hands on a Hardbody" 2019.
Many musicians & vocalists who have jammed with Chuck over the years will be joining him on stage, including some former Mary Hogan students - and who knows, there may be some surprise guests! Vocalists Vanessa Dunleavy, Jillian Werle Torres, George Voland & François Clemmons. Musicians Glendon Ingalls, Bear Irwin, Steve McLaughlin, Rich Davidian, Felix Anderson, Brian Maple, Blake Gowen, Doug Wilhelm, Gregg Krech, Caleb Benz and James Pecsok.
