There will be a dedication ceremony and unveiling of a new Vermont Historic Roadside Marker at the Bakersfield Historical Society Building located at 80 East Bakersfield Road. The Vermont Division of Historic Preservation donates the markers as part of their program that commemorates Vermont's people, places, and events that are significant to our state and often national history. Laura Trieschmann, Vermont Historic Preservation Officer, will be presenting information about Vermont's Historic Roadside Marker Program.

Bakersfield Historical Society members will be hosting an Ice Cream Social for attendees following the dedication ceremony.
