We occasionally host a potluck and sing event at our home in Bellows Falls.
When we get together we share a potluck supper starting at 5:30. About 6:30 we clear the dishes away and start to sing. As we go around the circle, each person in turn chooses a song, which we all sing. You're welcome to lead the song you choose, or you can request that someone else picks a key and starts the song for you. You don't have to be a great singer; we're doing this for fun, not as a performance.
Sometimes a theme develops as we go around the circle, but often the songs range widely. Many people choose songs from the songbooks "Rise Up Singing" and "Rise Again," so if you have those books, bring them along. We have extra copies to share.
Our next potluck and sing will be this Saturday August 26th at 5:30. Because of limited space in our home, we need people to RSVP, as we might have to put people on a waiting list.
