It will be Open Mic at Tuesday Night Live tonight from 6 to 8:30 PM on the Legion Field. Performers will step up to the TNL microphone to perform for 10 to 15 minutes each. There are lots of talented folks who show their stuff at Open Mic. Just bring a blanket or chair for great entertainment.
There is a new project getting started in Johnson, a Lamoille County Paddlers group. Stop by the Conservation Commission tent to learn more from Sue Lovering, Eric Nuse and Doug Molde.
Only two more weeks to get a slice of the Johnson Historical Society’s homemade pie and cake. Grilled McKenzie hotdogs and salads can also be found under the Historical Society’s tent. There are lots of vendors around the field, who offer a variety of tasty foods.
There are two parking lots that may be used for Tuesday Night Live, the Elementary School lot on College Hill and Johnson State College’s McClelland Building parking lot, which is a bit further up College Hill on the left. Parking along the street is fine as long as driveways are not blocked.
Tuesday Night Live is generously supported by: Chuck’s Bikes, Concept 2, Foote Brook Farm, Forget Me Not Shop, Johnson Hardware/Rental, Johnson State College, Laraway Youth and Family Services, and Polow, Polow & Mahoney. Also, R. E. Construction, Rock Art Brewery, Sterling Market, The Studio Store, Vermont Studio Center, and Carrie Cook Design.
