The Brookfield Public Library is pleased to be hosting Deborah Lee Luskin at the Brookfield Old Town Hall at 7 pm on Wednesday August 20th, as part of the Vermont Humanities Council Speaker's Bureau. Author and Vermont historian, Luskin will speak about how events of 1964 helped precipitate Vermont's political swing from staunch Republicanism to a state with a progressive and even radical political fabric.
