I will be offering a Tuesday morning pottery class. There are a couple wheels available if you would like to give it a spin. New for this class is going to be the opportunity to work on a group vessel using the coil and throw technique. It should be fun!

Rising Meadow Pottery- Fall 2023 Class Schedule
Mixed Level Pottery Wheel for Adults
Tuesday: September 5th- October 17th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (6 classes- no class 10/10!!!)

This six week long session will include instruction revolving around the pottery making process. Wedging, centering, throwing, trimming and glazing will be the focus. The first two hours of class will be with instruction and the last two hours to work independently. The class will make work on the wheel for the first 6 weeks. The seventh week will be off and the pots will get bisque fired. We will meet for the last class and glaze on October 17th. Class size is limited.

Tuition $235: Price includes 25# of clay, glaze, and firing fees, plus 4 hours of open studio practice time each week. Additional clay can be purchased. 25# of clay will cost $40.

Open Studio practice time will be on Fridays from 10 am - 2 pm. Students are welcome to come practice and make pots without instruction.
