The Castleton Historical Society will hold its annual potluck picnic at 2 PM on Sunday, August 24th, at the Hubbardton Battlefield. Tom Hughes, manager of Crown Point historic site, and longtime local historian, will give an informal presentation, "the Battle of Hubbardton:1777 and 1977". Tom will share memorabilia and raw footage featuring the battlefield 37 years ago. Bring a chair, place setting, and a dish to share. Beverages will be provided.
