If you don't know Vandana Shiva, now is your chance. An amazing woman and warrior working hard for the people of India and the world. She has been pushing back hard on Monsanto and working with so many to stand up to protect the health of humans and the earth. A beautiful movie about her work is playing at the Colonial Theater in Bethlehem, NH this Thursday 8/24.

Also her book Oneness vs, the One Percent is brilliant although hard to find. I can lend my copy if anyone is interested. And her older film, Dirt, which I have had my students watch for many years now, is phenomenal. It is both heartbreaking and inspiring and the message is prescient and worth its weight in gold. I am grateful for Vandana's strength and work.
