I am seeking the fire chiefs permission to do a neighborhood brush fire. You can text me at 203-214-8671 if you would like to drop off some brush or environmentally friendly materials to burn.
I will have plenty of hoses on hand as well as a full 500 gallon water tank and would like to do this when the Cornwall volunteer fire Department is at their meeting on Monday, just as an extra layer of protection and safety.
That way in the event we need them all they have to do is jump in their trucks and be here within a few minutes although I will be taking plenty of precautions such as soaking the perimeter of the burn area thoroughly several days in advance of the burn despite the rain, and only if wind conditions are suitable.
