Coming up Thursday on Central Vermont Community Radio: An area organization helps elders age in place and is collecting recipes for Vermont foods; a St. Albans weather blogger gives an overview of where North America and Vermont are now, weatherwise.
9:00 - 10:00 am
Central Vermont Council on Aging (CVCOA) helps elders in Washington, Lamoille, and Orange counties age in place. We'll hear about their ongoing services, career opportunities, and a new project to collect and make publicly available historic Vermont recipes—with nutritional information. Our guests will be Kate Reilly and Kim Lipinski.

St. Albans resident Matt Sutkoski calls his blog, Matt's Weather Rapport, a "Vermont weather geek's hodgpodge of weather and climate news." He'll put the current and coming wild weather in North America into context for us, as well as give us a take on the dangers to Vermont from the current high rivers, wet soils, and hurricane season. I'll ask him if it's too early to rebuild structures damaged by the July floods.
