Come watch the film 'White River Land Collaborative: A Seed for the Future' at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival on Thursday, August 24 at 11:30am in Dana Auditorium. It's an inspiring 15-minute documentary about the achievements, challenges, and aspirations of a women-led, community-driven initiative for farmland access, and why it matters in Vermont and beyond.

Then learn more about this exciting land access project for young and beginning farmers and meet members of their project team including Shona Sanford-Long (2014 Middlebury alum and owner of Flying Dog Farm) and Emily Boles (Abenaki land steward at the Collaborative) at Edgewater Gallery at the Falls on Sunday, August 27th from 12noon -1:30pm. The film will also screen at the Edgewater Gallery and light refreshments will be served.
