Shadow-Daniels Lake Watershed Plan Community Meeting

Past event
Aug 23, 2023, 6 to 7:30 PM

Wednesday August 23, 6pm - 7:30pm at the West Glover Congregational Church.

The purpose of this meeting is to review the year of field assessment work that has taken place. Including a list of potential restoration priorities that emerged, and gather community input and feedback.

This meeting is open to the public including lake and town residents, lake users, town officials, and anyone else who loves our lakes or is concerned about water quality. Please join us!

An LWAP is an assessment and planning tool that identifies the greatest threats to water quality, wildlife habitat, and the overall health of the lake ecosystem. The process evaluates the shoreland, tributaries, drainage ditches, wetlands, hydrologically connected roads, and working landscapes to create a priority list of issues. The result is a planning guide that prioritizes restoration and protection actions for the watershed.
