Plot description:
Is it a dream? Is it real life? We're not sure! But George is stuck in the classic actor's nightmare of being on stage and not knowing who he is or any of his lines! Hilariously, different scenes from different plays drift in and out around him by famous playwrights such as Shakespeare, Noel Coward, and Samuel Beckett – to name a few. Will he remember Hamlet's famous speech? Does he have to wait for Godot? And that executioner's axe looks a little too real…
No need to have anything prepared! There are five roles that are written as two male roles and three female roles, but some roles can be split up, and genders can be swapped. They are:
GEORGE: A very confused actor (Main role)
SARAH: An actress who thinks she's more important than she is; bit of a diva
ELLEN: An actress who wishes she was just like Sarah
HENRY: Another actor who doesn't have time for you
MEG: A no-nonsense stage manager
