Join us for an early evening walk down Whetstone Brook Rd. in East Craftsbury, with Orleans County forester Jared Nunery. We will explore ideas from Tom Wessel's book Reading the Forested Landscape, and consider the woods around us. What stories do they tell? How have people and other animals inhabited and shaped these woods? What does the forest tell us about the history of this place? Rain or shine, please dress for the weather, we'll meet at the J.W. Simpson Memorial Library.
