Social Band, Burlington's Lively Band of Singers, will be performing its annual summer concert at the lovely Old Round Church in Richmond, Vermont on Saturday August 26, 2023 at 7:30pm. As Social Band marks its 25th anniversary, we will feature works by Vermont composers, including Don Jamison, Michael Kellogg and Pete Sutherland, as well as Spanish music from the Renaissance. The Old Round Church is one of Social Band's favorite performance settings--this venue is so well suited to unaccompanied choral music that Social Band considers it to be a member of the choir. Want to hear something a little off the beaten musical path (in a good way), in a one-of-a-kind setting? Then join us!
Suggested donation $18. But that's just a suggestion. Pay less, pay more - whatever will make you feel good about joining us. We'll just be glad to see you!
Tickets are available online through Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/social-band-summer-concert-tickets-680574214797 or at the door. Masks are optional. If you're feeling under the weather, please skip the concert and rest comfortably at home.
Social Band will donate 50% of proceeds from this concert to Neighbor Helping Neighbor through the Huntington Community Church to support individuals in Richmond, Bolton and Huntington needing flood assistance.
