This Saturday at the Waterville Town Library 11am! Last year VINS (Vermont Institute for Natural Science) came with live Raptors and we had a large and engaged audience! Thanks to the Vermont Department of Libraries and VINS for supporting Waterville to bring this program to our town this Saturday! All our welcome (not just for Watervillians), suitable for all ages too!
Did you know that not all owls hoot? This program includes three live owls with photos and audible sounds of our local owls. This first-hand encounter enables participants to understand the defining characteristics and adaptations for life as a nocturnal predator on the wing. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience.
