At 7 p.m., on Tuesday, August 27th, please join us for a presentation by Monica and Jim Heath of the Hyde Park Historical Society. The event will be in the yellow one-room schoolhouse on Route 2 next to the Hyde Log Cabin and the Grand Isle Elementary School.

Monica and Jim will discuss the lives and migratory routes of Captain Jedediah Hyde and his son, Jedediah Hyde , Jr., the builder of the historic Hyde Log Cabin. There will be time to ask questions and share your knowledge of the subject. The connections of their settlements in Vermont, particularly in Grand Isle and Hyde Park will be highlighted.
