The Hartford Community Band will present its final summer concert on Tuesday, August 29 on the lawn of the Hartford Baptist Church, Main Street, Hartford. The concert is free and will begin at 6pm. Hartford Boy Scout Troop 40, in cooperation with Stewart Shops, will be selling Make Your Own Sundaes! They will also have hotdogs, popcorn and cold beverages for sale. The band will present a variety of tunes including band favorites, traditional marches and tunes highlighting various instruments. We will also be drawing the winning ticket near the end of the concert for the patriotic raffle quilt. So if you have not yet purchased a ticket, there is still time!
