The church has sustained significant damage necessitating removal of everything downstairs including the flooring., the entire kitchen, bathrooms, reception area. It's estimated to be well over 100,000K Just for this work and addressing the mold. Then there is the rebuilding as the downstairs. The area is used for a wide variety of functions.
There will be a Flood Damage Benefit Concert held this Sunday afternoon, 8/20 at 3PM with a free will offering. The afternoon of music will include a community chorus of 40 voices , Roy MacNeil on violin, Thurmond Knight and Catherine McMaster on cello and piano, Cal & Marcia Patent on trombone and organ. Refreshments and raffle of a basket of Vermont products. By donation.
