The John G. McCullough Free Library and the Shaftsbury Cemetery Committee invite you to "Cleaning and Meaning" this coming Sunday, August 20th, at 1:00 PM at the Shaftsbury Center Cemetery located at 3552 Rte. 7A in Shaftsbury, next to the Shaftsbury Historical Society's Baptist Church.
Join Caitlin Abrams, a Vermont Old Cemetery Association representative, as she demonstrates the proper care and cleaning of headstones, explains the meanings of the symbols we find there, and illuminates the lives of the people who are buried there.
