Tenth Annual Champlain Islands Crop Hunger Walk

Past event
Sep 24, 2023, 1 to 3 PM

Register and begin raising money now to help reach or exceed our tenth year, $10k goal.
Last year we raised more than $13k. Over the past 9 years, we've raised more than $60k.
25% stays locally, shared equally by the Champlain Islands food Shelf and Food For Thought.
75% provides food, clean water, other immediate and long-term support globally to help people recovering from warfare and various disasters, even right here in VT, which received support following the July 2023 foods. Assistance is provided regardless of any of the various defining characteristics people use for themselves or to define each other.

Refreshments served at CCSH following the Walk.

We walk because others worldwide must walk daily for their food, water, and many other basic needs.
We walk to raise awareness about the needs of our neighbors, who sometimes are us.
We walk to celebrate together, a culmination of our fundraising.

As CWS says so well: "Walk. Give. Change the world."

Hope to see you for the tenth anniversary Walk at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 24!
