Seeking volunteers to help trim back and clear the overgrowth along the South Hero Bike Path. It has become overly cluttered with weeds and branches protruding into the existing gravel path and could be unsafe for cyclists, walkers and anglers. Anyone interested please bring work gloves, hedge trimmers, loppers, rakes, buckets, etc. A good place to meet would be the angler's parking area on the south end of the trail out by the causeway on Monday, August 21, 10:00a.m.. Any amount of time you can afford is helpful.

Please be aware there may be poison ivy and other poisonous vines so dress accordingly.
