Black lighting for moths and other night time insects with Middlebury College entomologist Greg Pask
Please come join us at the Salisbury Elementary School for an evening of moths and other fascinating insects on Friday August 25 from 8 to 9:30 PM. Come after the sun goes down and stay as long as you'd like! We'll use black lights to attract the night-active insects to white sheets in the woods. Middlebury College entomologist Greg Pask will then teach us about what we are seeing. Feel free to bring a flashlight or headlamp, and no bug spray please (we're trying to attract the bugs!).
Events may be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions. But light to moderate rain is OK!
