Thursday afternoon I'll be offering a free NADA style acupuncture clinic for anybody feeling stressed and overwhelmed by the effects of the flood. NADA clinics run in small groups, and last about an hour.
Do you feel as if your spirits have been shaken up and scattered? They've not returned and settled? Is your nervous system still waiting for the other shoe to drop..? These treatments will not change what has happened, but they can help us shift how we respond, how we pick ourselves up again, how we come back to life. Acupuncturists Without Borders takes these clinics to disaster areas around the world after hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, fire and floods. They do it because it supports the survivors in moving through the shock and letting life flow again. https://acuwithoutborders.org/
I am a licensed acupuncturist, I received my NADA training at the Baltimore City Detention Centers, and I've supervised acudetox clinics at residential programs around Vermont.
The Fine Print: This is a free clinic at - Traditional Acupuncture Office, 28 East State Street, ground floor. I'll do my best to seat everybody who comes. Please note that this is a quiet space and you will need to be able to power off your cellphone during your treatment. Please arrive with time to be seated at 3:00 or at 4:00. And I'm happy to do this weekly if there is demand.
