Join mycology educator, mushroom photographer, and author, Meg Madden, for an exploration of the fascinating fungi of Mount Independence. The wet weather has put a damper on a lot of summer activities, but should make for a profuse assortment of specimens. On this walk we will explore the woods and talk about the mushrooms we find along the way including what they are, how to identify them, and their ecological roles in the environment.

To keep things manageable, we're limiting the number of attendees to 20 people, so please call ahead to reserve your spot.
