The 2nd annual September Sounds Community Concert will take place on Saturday, September 9 at the Huntington Recreation Field. Last year's concert was a great success, and this year is shaping up to be even better! Performances will include talented local musicians Walt and Carl - Alive! and a collection of their special guests along with the joyful Ukes R Us.
"Doors" open at 3:30 to allow you time to find a place to spread your blanket or set up your chairs. Bring a picnic or treat yourself to something delicious from food vendors Little Miss Taco, Krin's Bakery, and Frutta Dolce! Homemade Italian Sodas. The Friends will provide a water bottle filling station.
Music begins at 4:00 and lasts until about 6:00. The event is family-friendly with children's activities and plenty of space to play.
September Sounds is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Huntington Public Library. The Friends support special programs for all ages.
Suggested donation is $5/person or $15/family, but all are welcome. Come show your love and appreciation for the Huntington Public Library while enjoying time with family, friends and the Huntington community.
