I am the Executive Director at the Central Vermont Council on Aging, and I want to invite you to our fall fundraiser.

On Saturday, September 9, at Northern Vermont University – Johnson, we are hosting Age Outdoors to support and raise awareness for healthy aging!

Registration and check-in open at 9:00 a.m. A guided walk begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by lawn games, a scavenger hunt, and a relay race that will be sure to have you laughing as your team works together to complete a series of challenges (have you ever won a cookie race?).

Fun continues with lunch from Morse Block Deli, included in your ticket, plus music and prizes for top fundraisers and event participants.

To me, supporting healthy aging means creating accessible programs for movement. Our community wellness classes provide older adults with movement and social connection on a weekly basis. Funds raised during Age Outdoors will support these programs while providing another occasion to celebrate aging and our state's beautiful resources to recreate!
