A few weeks ago while helping a TONY sort through a few boxes in a barn loft, readying the place for sale,we came across two old boxes that had been shipped from VT to NYC and then brought back again,placed into the barn unopened and forgot about for a few decades….when they were opened a whole artistic diary of the life and work of Aida Whedon came bounding out into the light of day. After the dust and mice settled down it's been an interesting project cataloguing and finding out more about this amazing woman. The Show will be on view at the MCA through August before it goes on to an archive of her work based in New York.
