Join us for a free Crankie workshop with Meredith Holch!
What is a "crankie"? Think hand-made, people-powered paper movie! As you turn the wooden crank, the pictures scroll through the viewing box. In this hands-on workshop, we will create a group crankie from story creation through illustrating a fifteen-foot paper scroll. We'll do an informal performance (for whoever is around) in the brand new Story House behind the Albany Genny. For ages 10 and older. Free. Space is limited- register early!
