The Weathersfield Proctor Library and the Southern Vermont Astronomy Group (SoVerA) will host a star party this Friday, August 11th, at the Hoisington Field in Perkinsville, VT starting at dusk, weather permitting.

All are welcome. Bring a comfortable chair (one that reclines, if possible).

The Perseid meteor shower will be at its peak this weekend. Naked eye viewing is fine for the meteors. Bring binoculars or a telescope if you like. SoVerA members will have several telescopes available for public viewing.
