Bard Owl, the acoustic duo of Breeze Verdant and Annie Landenberger, presents a concert to benefit Loaves and Fishes, meals for the hungry, Saturday, August 12, 6:30-8:30. Offering sweet harmonies and driving rhythms on old tunes, new, and originals, Bard Owl will perform under the maples at Historic Springs Farm, 49 Carpenter Hill Rd., Guilford Center. Storyteller Mary Wallace Collins will perform between sets. Rain or shine. Suggested donation: $10–20--but no one turned away; children free. Limited parking at the Farm for close-in access. Otherwise, parking off Carpenter Hill Road, at the library, on the lower field, or at Playscape. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and/or picnics.
