This Thursday and every consecutive Thursday through the 2023 summer season, the Rotary Club of Waterbury presents FREE musical concerts at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Downtown Waterbury. This year marks the Rotary Club's 41st year of "Concerts in the Park" and series is believed to be the longest consecutive running FREE to the public cultural arts series of its type in Vermont.

This Thursday's concert will be "Prydein" playing American Celtic rock, traditional Celtic and classic rock music featuring the Great Highland Bagpipe.

Come join us with family and friends that will be bringing their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic supper or purchase your supper from a variety of vendors on site. Come early and shop from the numerous food vendors and booths set up at the Waterbury Farmer's Market, 4:00 - 7:00 pm. See you there and please play this week's 50/50 Raffle with the proceeds from this Thursday going to support the Rotary's Cultural Arts Programs, including these "Concerts in the Park".

For the safety of the performers, Farmers Market vendors and the crowd…please remind guests and your children that unleashed dogs, bike riding, ball playing, climbing on structures and trees, and running through the gardens or crowd are prohibited during the event.

On the following Thursday, August 17th, "Mirage"' will be performing. This band will be featuring 5 vocalists, dual guitars, and a terrific selection of your favorite rock n' roll music to sing and dance away this last Rotary concert of the 2023 season.

As always and especially this year, if inclement weather threatens the performance, listen to WDEV Radio Thursday afternoons for notification of cancellation.
