This year's annual Summer Celebration is a friend-raising event! With music, a cash bar, food, and games for all ages, come see what Rural Arts Collaborative is up to this year and how you can become involved. It's the same night as the Circus Smirkus finale, so we've started at 4 pm so everyone can spend a little time at our friendraiser before heading to the show! If you're not attending the circus, stay and dance the evening away with us.
Rural Arts Collaborative has made huge strides this year in reaching children where they are at in schools and in the community, engaging elders in the arts, and making space for teens in our makerspace. We're seeking volunteers, so come learn about what's on the horizon and how you can be involved.
Generously hosted at Mary Lou Rylands' Yellow Barn in East Craftsbury, with music the Jon Gailmor/Taryn Quartet. Four fascinating Vermont performers team up for an evening of great original numbers, folk hits, Great American song book standards, and other golden nuggets for your listening pleasure. Vermont entertainers Jon Gailmor and Taryn Noelle team up with gifted Vermont guitarist Don Schabner, and veteran bassist and singer Dave Rowell. All have been gracing the stage for decades, but have only recently joined forces. They are thrilled to be a part of this special evening for Rural Arts, and can't wait to share their love of music with this wonderful organization!
Entry is $5 per person.
