Joanne Polanshek, a professional genealogist, will be sharing the story of Jeffrey Brace "The Blind African Slave" who owned property and lived in Georgia, Vermont in his later years. Jeffrey became a Christian and was baptized at the Georgia Plain Baptist Church. The State of Vermont erected a historical marker at the Evarts Cemetery on Mill River Road this summer.
