Jim's recently published book "The Island Line Revisited" is full of new information about the Rutland Railroad.
The Rutland Railroad's Island Line ran from 1901 to 1961 straight through the five Island towns, providing passenger service, connections for farmers to access markets and employment for Grand Isle County.
