Join us to celebrate the completion of the mini ramp in Recreation Park, and to thank all those who helped make it happen! We'll have snacks, music, lawn games, and of course the beautiful new mini-ramp to ride or skate. PLUS, Parks and Rec has generously opened up the swimming pool for our event -- normally the pool is not open Sundays so this is a special treat!

We will have a special beginner's-only mini-ramp session at 1:30 prior to the party so newcomers (and old-timers who haven't skated in a while) will have a chance to skate/ride without a big audience. We will also bring our loaner skateboards and pads for anyone who wants to try it out!

From 2:00 - 3:00 we will have an open session on the mini ramp, ALL wheels, ALL ages, ALL abilities welcome!

Then from 3:00 - 4:00 will be an advanced/demo session -- we hope to have some skilled skaters and riders show off their best and most creative tricks during this time!

It looks like it will be a beautiful day so come on out and help us celebrate! Bring your boards, skates, scooters -- and your swim suits and towels.

Unfortunately the pump track suffered some damage during the heavy rain on Thursday so it won't be available to ride during the party. :(
