The Waterbury Public Library had its first Open Mic Night last Tuesday and what fun! Garret White is a funny, understated emcee who has the gift of making everyone feel comfortable. From skits to juggling, music (harp, song, fiddle,) poetry and story- there was something for everyone! Come this Tuesday, August 8th from 6-8 PM, bring your talent, a chair or a blanket, or just come to listen and enjoy your neighbors. As we gather as a community, we feed each other with love and compassion which serves us all. Sign up the night of the event. In the library's garden; In case of rain, in the SAL Room. See you there!
