The planning project is moving forward to design a safe and comfortable active transportation connection from the Village Center to Route 117 (River Road). The goal of this project is to design a path that is safe and easy to use for all ages and abilities, whether biking, walking, using a wheelchair, using a scooter, skateboarding, etc.
On August 10th at 6:30 PM, the project team is hosting a second community "Alternatives" meeting to discuss the design concepts that have been developed. Details of potential alternative designs will be shown and discussed during this meeting, and we would appreciate your feedback! This meeting will be held at the Richmond Town Center Conference Room C and via zoom. Here is a link to that agenda, which includes information to join by zoom or phone: https://www.richmondvt.gov/calendar/meeting/richmond-western-gateway-scoping-study-8-10-23
A survey for the public is open until August 15th at tinyurl.com/WesternGatewayConceptsSurvey, or via the town's project website page of https://www.richmondvt.gov/boards-meetings/richmond-western-gateway-scoping-study, or stop by the Richmond Free Library or Town Offices for a paper version.
