Summer Camp Art Show & Reception Aug. 20

Past event
Aug 20, 2014, 6 to 8 PM

YOU ARE INVITED
OCCC/LAC/SAC had a wonderful and creative camp season. We would love to share our creations with you at a reception next Wednesday at the Richmond Free Library. We will be showing our “Big Art” projects – murals and panels that introduced campers to group art, color and concepts. There are also individual pieces – clay, wax, fabric. We will also have a music corner with our ukuleles on hand. Come try your hand at making music.
For Campers, this is the time for you to come and pick up your clay and other pieces. For Families, this is a time to see some of the creative activities your child participated in. We hope that campers will be present to talk about their pieces or to play the ukulele. For the Public – it is a time to see what OCCC/LAC/SAC are all about. Come and see the wonderful things that young minds create at the camp that you support.
For campers who brought things home – you are invited to bring them back to be part of the show. We will be setting up starting at 2 pm on Wednesday. Bring your piece to the library to be included in the show.
We hope to be showing a short video of camp created by a local film student.
Refreshments will be served.
Some art will remain on display in the Community Room through Thursday and will be on the Mezzanine on Friday.
PLEASE COME TO OUR SHOW.
